I've always had a passion for nature, vintage and antique items and believe that everything we surround ourselves with in life has an intrinsic emotional and wellbeing value, regardless of it's monetary value. Whether that be a leaf or feather from the garden or vintage treasures of a time gone past that can bring pleasure and joy in the present and future. It's these small things that make a home and make us feel we belong, that form a connection to calm, inspire or lift us and this is why I love natural, old and pre-loved things so much. Phenomenologically this relates to the concept of 'dwelling' - where a home is not just a place of shelter but a place to belong. My daughter and I came up with the concept of EvergreenGoldUk as an extension of our own personal regard of 'things' that we cherish and hold dear, the things that we love to see, touch and surround ourselves with that bring joy, comfort or inspiration.
