Commemorative vintage Team Great Britain ceramic wall tile plaque from the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games

A lovely vintage Team GB commemorative ceramic tile plaque from the 1976 Montreal Olympics.

Made in England by H & R Johnson Ltd.

This is a little piece of memorabilia of our British sporting history and is in lovely vintage condition, with no scratches or damage to the face. It does have a couple of tiny little chips to the surface glaze on the edges in a couple of places but these are only visible under close inspection. In addition to making an interesting ornament, it could be used as wall art, or incorporated as a feature into a tiled area or simply used as a drinks coaster.

On the reverse side it is unglazed ready for adhesive. There is a small discoloured circle on the back where it may have had a tile fixing attached to hang it as a plaque in the past.

The tile is oval and measures approximately 15.3cm long and 10.8cm wide. The tile is approximately 6mm thick.
