Lovely vintage silk bowtie in a vibrant but elegant, colourful pattern

A lovely, elegant and well made, vintage, 100% silk, bowtie. This lovely tie has been hand made in England and is pre-tied with a metal hook and eye fastening and adjustable neck piece.

It would look perfect in many settings. It is in excellent condition and shows no signs of damage or wear. It is not boxed but will supplied in a light weight cream coloured cardboard box ready for gifting.

The bow part of the tie measures approximately 10.5cm long and 6.5cm wide. The bow is made of two pieces of double sided material with stiffener material inside each piece, it looks good and also keeps its shape while retaining flexibility. The neck piece measures approximately 2cm wide and can be adjusted to fit approximately a 30cm to 54cm circumference neck including the bow.

This item has a dry clean only label on it and is thought to date to the 1990's.
