Beautiful vintage gravy boat by Portland Pottery. Cobridge, Staffordshire.

This lovely gravy boat is marked with 3/1953 to indicate that it was made in March 1953.

It is glazed in a very slightly cream colour and decorated with a beautiful regal pattern. There is a gold coloured rim and gold decoration to the handle.

Despite being more than 65 years old, the gold decoration on this piece is still in excellent condition and is unworn even on the handle.

This lovely item holds approximately 400ml and pours very cleanly. It measures approximately 20cm long and is 8.4cm tall.
