Vintage Ginori porcelain gold and white demitasse

A lovely piece of stamped vintage Richard Ginori porcelain. This lovely little demitasse coffee cup and saucer set is manufactured in porcelain and lined inside with gold. Ginori is an Italian luxury porcelain company who has been manufacturing fine porcelain since 1735. It was owned by Gucci.

This lovely little cup and saucer feature the Ginori logo and show some signs of are and wear. The cup has a tiny hairline glaze crack on the front (as seen in the photographs) and the gold is worn on all areas of the cup. There are some small irregularities from the time of manufacture in the glaze and on the porcelain. The inside of the cup has some speckling on the gold on the interior due to use and age.

This pretty little cup is the perfect size for an espresso or lungo but would make a lovely decorative cabinet piece. The cup holds approximately 80ml and measures approximately 5.5cm tall, 8.5cm wide including the handle and 6cm diameter across the open top. The saucer measures 11.4cm diameter.
