A lovely vintage piece of Royal Albert Paragon china in the style of Elgin.
Elgin features a bright finely ribbed white bone china base with a dark green, gold filigree patterned rim. It is a timeless and elegant design and is no longer manufactured.
This bowl is known as a fruit saucer/bowl. It is smaller and shallower than the soup/cereal bowl. It also has a flatter base, ideal for breaking fruit pieces with a spoon without chasing them up the side of a rounded bottomed bowl. At the time of listing there is also a soup/cereal bowl offered on a separate listing that is shown in the final photograph. Please note this listing is for the fruit bowl only.
The bowl measures approximately 14.2cm diameter and 3.6cm tall.
Condition wise the fruit saucer is in very good, almost pristine condition. There are two tiny areas on the bottom of the gold rim where a tiny piece of the pattern is missing. This can be seen in the photographs.
Please look at all of the photographs and the video as these form part of the description and help to show scale, colour and condition.
