Set of 4 vintage 1980's M&S 'Harvest' oven to table wear mugs

A lovely set of 4 hardly used vintage 1980's M&S St. Michael oven to tableware mugs in their popular, and highly collectable, 'Harvest' design. Check out the other listings being added for further items in this range.

This listing is for 4 mugs as a set. Each mug has a capacity of approximately 300ml and measures approximately 11.8cm wide including the handle and 9.7cm tall. They are in very good condition with no damage, however 3 of the mugs have developed superficial crazing at the boundary between the top glaze and clay. This can be seen when examined closely.

The design features a light cream coloured satin style finish with a pretty autumnal feel pattern of berries, leaves and rose hips. There is a gently flared lip. The design is finished off with a matching brown ring of colour around the bottom rim. The base is embossed with made in England.

There appear to be several slightly different mug designs in this design range which most likely spanned the time period that this popular design was produced and represented different production runs of the design over the years. The final photograph shows 3 different designs. All 4 of the mugs in this listing are the same design.
