Vintage hand carved hardwood Asian female figurine approximately 1 foot high

This lovely vintage item has been hand carved from a very dense and heavy red/brown hardwood and stands just over 1 foot (30.5cm) tall. She is beautiful to hold, very smooth and heavy for her size, with a nice grain pattern to the wood. Her age and origin are not known, however, from the type of wood and also the styling of her clothes and hair she could well have originated from Asia.

A lovely and elegant female figurine who is big enough to have presence, yet that is narrow enough to sit on a small shelf or table space.

She is in lovely vintage condition with no damage. However she is made from a natural wood and there are natural variations in the wood texture in places as well as some natural colour variation.

She measures approximately 30.5cm tall and is approximately 7cm wide and 5.5cm deep. She weighs just over 0.5Kg, which is quite heavy for her size.
