A lovely vintage and now discontinued teapot by Royal Doulton in their 1980's Minerva style. This pretty teapot is being listed as used but is in its original box. It would appear to have been used once and then put away. A nice sized modern styled octagonal design pot which is a lovely size for everyday use and holds approximately 1350ml.
The lid has a small lug and shaped lip to help keep in on during pouring and also an air hole to help it pour well. It is made of a white china and glazed in a high gloss with a printed blue and green delicate floral design. There are no strainer holes between the spout and the body in this design pot.
It is believed to date from the 1990's and is in very good condition.
The teapot measures approximately 17.5cm tall, 13.5cm diameter and 24cm long including the spout and handle.
Stamped with the manufacturer's mark on the base. Oven, freezer, dishwasher and microwave safe. Chip resistant china.
I test all of my teapots for pour quality and this one pours very well and cleanly.
This listing is for the lidded teapot and it's original box only. Any other items in the photographs or video are not part of the listing.
