Beautiful stunning antique Crown Ducal large lily pond shaped bowl in black with red, orange, yellow and green marbling effect inside.

A gorgeous antique lily pond shaped large bowl by Crown Ducal. Crown Ducal manufactured china between 1915 and 1974 after which they became part of Wedgwood. This lovely piece is stamped with the maker's mark and is thought to date to between 1925 and 1930 making it almost 100 years old.

It would make a lovely and unusual vintage gift. It is stunning and far too pretty to put anything in and hide the beautiful patterning inside, although I have a similar but larger one that I use as a house plant saucer.

It measures approximately 25.5cm diameter across the widest part and is 6cm high. The internal diameter of the rim is approximately 20.5cm.

It is in lovely vintage condition with no major damage. It does have a few superficial scratches from use and there is some discolouration on the underside of the base under the glaze. The bowl is glaze crazed on the clear glazed underside but there does not appear to be any crazing on the painted inner or outer surfaces if the bowl.
