Gorgeous, elegant, sophisticated and striking 1960's handblown green and clear glass tall pedestal vase

This lovely, medium sized pedestal vase has been handblown and is beautiful. It has been crafted with a twisted, fluted green glass bowl sat upon a short twisted and tapered stem and stable foot. There is a pontil mark on the base of the foot and occasional air inclusions within the glass. The glass is varied thickness and catches the light nicely. At the time of listing there is another, similar, but larger, vase for sale in the shop which is shown in the final photograph..

There is no maker's mark and so the origin is not known for sure, however it is probably Italian.

Of course it doesn't need to be used for flowers and could also be used as a decorative item. It would make a fabulous gift.

It stands approximately 25cm high and has a diameter of approximately 6.2cm across the top but narrows in the throat. The widest part of the bowl measures approximately 8cm diameter. The foot measures approximately 6.5cm diameter.

Overall it is in very good vintage condition, however there is one very tiny chip on the top of the rim, this may be a burst air inclusion rather than damage and is only noticeable on close inspection and can be seen in the photograph of the rim.
