Beautiful and elegant vintage Royal Standard English bone china 'sunset' design tea cup, saucer and tea plate trio

An absolutely beautiful yellow rose and gold 'sunset' pattern trio consisting of a pedestal teacup, matching saucer and tea plate. This lovely set has a scalloped edge shape and is decorated with a fine transfer design of yellow roses. The set is finished with hand painted gold paint. The inside of the teacup is hand painted in a yellow wash, leaving the rim and the base of the inside of the cup unpainted.

The gold finish is in good vintage condition with only minor wear.

All of the pieces are clearly marked by the maker on the base and there are no signs of cracks or damage.

The pedestal design gives the cup a very delicate and elegant shape and the lovely yellow colour wash inside make it almost glow. It is a pleasure to hold and look at while drinking and would make a lovely gift along with some nice luxury tea.

The teacup measures approximately 7.2cm in height, is 11.2 wide including the handle and is 9cm in diameter across the open mouth. It holds approximately 180ml.

The saucer measures approximately 14.8cm in diameter and the tea plate measures approximately 16.2cm in diameter.
