This listing is for the body of the coffee pot only. There is no lid listed with this item. This lovely coffee pot is in a less commonly seen design called 'Scroll'. The pot carries the blue maker's stamp on the base with the crown and concentric circles. It has Morris written across the centre of circle and England written beneath. This mark was believed to be in use between around 1912 and 1928 although often multiple marker's marks were used over extended times and can be difficult to pin point dates.
This lovely item would have originally been part of a coffee set. It is a delightful shape and in generally very good condition. To note there is some light superficial crazing on the lid seat lip at the top of the pot, additionally there is a very tiny hair line crack in this area. There is a patchy, very fine top glaze crazing on the body and base. There is some mild discolouration inside the pot. These can be seen in the photographs.
The pot measures approximately 15.5cm tall, 17.5cm long and 11cm wide.
Please look at all of the photographs and the video as these form part of the description and help to show scale, colour and condition.
