Pretty, vintage Royal Victoria Wade 1980's teapot in white with pink trim and apple blossom decoration

A pretty and practical, 1980's, vintage Wade Royal Victoria China teapot in white with a pink line and apple blossom floral decor.

This lovely pot bears the maker's mark in red on the base.

This pot is designed for tea and has strainer holes between the body and the spout. It has a lovely shape with a barrel shaped body and nicely balanced handle and spout.

The pink decoration has been applied the edge of the pot rim and the lid.

The lid is domed in profile and has a small lug to help keep the lid in place during use. The lid is quite loose, but looking at other similar Wade pots using the same body shape design, this is normal for this pot.

It has been glazed in a white high shine glaze and decorated with apple blossom on the front, back. and lid.

Overall the condition is very good and it looks as if it has hardly been used.

I always check my teapots for pour quality and this one pours very cleanly.

This pretty pot stands approximately 17cm tall, 24cm long and 14cm wide. It holds approximately 1200ml comfortably.
