A very elegant looking vintage coffee pot in white glaze with a softly blended blue border on the finial and pot rim.
This lovely pot has a beautiful rounded diamond shaped design with elegant moulded fluting that resembles a closed flower bud. The neck is scalloped and matches up with the same fluting on the lid. It is very pretty.
There is no maker's marks and so the manufacturer and age are not known, although it is thought to date from the late 20th Century.
It has a tall elegant design and has holds approximately 1150ml.
This was designed for coffee but could also be used for tea.
There are no strainer holes between the body and spout.
Overall the condition is very good and it looks almost unused. There is one area to point out and this is a small chip in the blue glaze on the lid finial. This can all be seen in the photographs and could very easily be blended back in using a small dab of blue to match it in.
I always check my teapots for pour quality and this one pours very cleanly.
This beautiful pot stands approximately 20.5cm tall, 23.5cm long and 13.5cm wide.
Please look at all of the photographs and the video as these form part of the description and help to show scale, colour and condition.
