Beautiful vintage hand painted diamonté and golden gilded coffee or tea pot - elegant, pretty, floral, pastel, afternoon tea

A very pretty, used, vintage, hand painted, gilded and bejewelled porcelain tea or coffee pot. This lovely little pot is in very good condition overall, however it has had its little lug on the lid chipped off. This is only noticeable when the lid is lifted and examined but can be seen clearly in the final photograph.

It is made of a white porcelain and has been decorated by hand in pretty pastel colours over a moulded white base and then finished with a few strategic diamonté stones and touches of gold. There are no strainer holes between the spout and the body, so it was probably designed as a coffee pot but could be used for tea too.

The teapot measures approximately 17cm tall to the tip of the lid, 12.5cm wide across the pot belly and 17.5cm long across the spout and handle.

The has a capacity of approximately 830ml.

I test all of my teapots for pour quality and this one has a fine spout which gives an elegant fine flow but needs to be poured slowly to ensure it pours cleanly.
