Set of 6 Hornsea Pottery, England, cups and saucers in the Palatine pattern vintage 1970's Lancaster Vitramic stoneware - Martin Hunt design

A fabulous set of 6 cups and saucers from Hornsea Pottery, England, in their beautiful Palatine design. This lovely Martin Hunt design is from the mid 1970's and features a brown satin sheen glaze design on a contrasting high gloss white stoneware base. The set is being sold as used but is in excellent condition with minimal signs of use. At the time of listing there are also 5 matching side plates available on a separate listing in the shop.

This range was sold as dishwasher and microwave safe, although this is not marked on the cups. The saucers stack neatly. The cups stack but I wouldn't recommend stacking them more than 2 high for stability.

The saucers measure approximately 14.8cm diameter and they stand approximately 1.6cm tall.
The cups hold approximately 225ml and measure 11.5cm long including the handle, 6.8cm tall and 8.5cm wide.
