A very pretty pair of fine bone china cups in the beautiful and elegant Blue Garland design from Johann Haviland of Bavaria. These should have saucers and could be used as replacements for lost cups, but they have a tall enough design, with the pretty swirly foot for them to double as small mugs if saucers are too much for the occasion. The china has delicate mouldings on the outside of the rim matching the swirls on the foot of the cup.
These are vintage from the 1970's with the platinum colouration on the inner rim and handle. They are both in excellent vintage condition with no damage, although one cup does have a couple of tiny discolouration specks beneath the glaze at the bottom of the interior of the cup. This can be seen in the final photograph. The gilding is still in very good condition, as is the decoration.
This listing price is for both cups.
Please look at all of the photographs and the video as these form part of the description and help to show scale, colour and condition.
