A rare and lovely tea cup and plate trio from the Historic town of Battle, East Sussex. The site of William the Conquerer's victory over King Harold in 1066 at the Battle of Hastings. The set consists of one tea plate, one cup and one saucer, all matching and in excellent condition. The plate measures approximately 19.5cm in diameter and the saucer measures approximately 13.5 cm diameter. The cup holds around 200ml and is 7.5cm tall. Each item is finished with a golden gilding and decorated in an intricate black design. The cup and plate both have images of the local historic buildings and the place and date. This listing is for the trio set of one cup, one saucer and one plate only. All other items in the photographs are for display or size comparison purposes only and are not included.
