Vintage set of 4 stackable Steelite 'Rio' pink vitrified china cups and saucers

Set of 4 Rio pink Steelite hotel ware vitrified china cups and saucers in vintage used condition. This popular stackable design features a green band around the cup and saucer rim, with a brushed effect ring of pink over a white base. They are quite striking and feel nice to hold and use.

All 4 cup and saucer sets are in used vintage condition, 3 sets are in very good condition and 1 set has some minor issues. In this set the cup has a manufacturing imperfection on green cup rim where there is an irregularity in the green glaze. The saucer has a manufacturing irregularity in the glaze at pink white boundary that has allowed staining to enter beneath. At the same site on the rim of this saucer there is a small glaze chip. Both these can be seen in the final 2 photographs.

The cups measure approximately 10.8cm wide including the handle and 6.2cm tall with a capacity of approximately 240ml. The saucers have a diameter of approximately 14.6cm and stand 1.7cm tall.
