Beautiful vintage elegant woven floral, paisley, tartan, scarf, striking, stylish, warm, wrap, shawl, autumnal colours

A lovely, vintage and used woven style large shawl like scarf decorated with a patchwork type design in a beautiful autumnal heather palette of colours. Striking, interesting and perfect for everyday use or as a statement item to elevate an outfit. The scarf is woven so the pattern colouration is different on each side, one side being a darker overall look than the reverse side. It is a nice length and width to allow an array of styles to be created and heavy enough to act as a pashmina or shawl.

The fabric has a light airy look to it with a textured woven feel. It has a very subtle shine in certain lights but is more of a matte finish.

The design has been printed and is equally visible on both sides. The edges are machine stitched but have been done extremely well with a small and neat edge. The fabric feels like a cotton/wool mix, although there are no labels remaining on the item to determine this for sure.

The short edges are finished with hand plaited and tied tassels.

The scarf measures approximately 150cm long (including the end tassels, 130cm of material without the tassels) and is 69cm wide.

This is a vintage item and has been used but well cared for. There are a few minor signs of use but no damage.
