Vintage heavy, amber, glass pedestal vase or plantar, also could be used as a bonbon dish and is so lovely it does not need a purpose and would look perfect empty. This lovely item is believed to date from the early to mid 20th Century.
The dish stands approximately 13.2cm high and 15cm in diameter. The interior resulting mould shape will be slightly smaller. The glass is thick and robust and it weighs over a Kilogram empty. (Approximately 1111g empty).
It would hold a large supermarket herb pot in style. The narrowest point at the neck of the planter is 10.5cm diameter.
Overall it is in very good vintage condition although there are some minor signs of use such as tiny superficial scratches. The manufacture process at the time commonly left inclusions and small air bubbles in the glass and these can be seen in places and are not damage or faults.
