This lovely little Aynsley ginger jar dates from the late 20th Century to early 2000's and is a modern reproduction of one of their early 18th Century designs. Aynsley has been producing beautiful English china since 1775 and is an established name in quality English bone china design and manufacture. This lovely jar has a pretty faintly pumpkin shaped body with a pedestal foot and loose fitting domed lid. The pattern is a rich depiction of exotic flora and birds. Perfect as an ornament, or for storage of hair clips, trinkets etc.. A lovely item in a beautiful pattern.
Overall this item is in very good vintage condition, The unglazed base of the jar foot shows some light dirt from standing on a shelf for many years. The gilding is in good order.
It measures approximately 12cm tall to the tip of the lid and approximately 6cm wide.
