Lovely, hand painted mid 20th Century Jersey Pottery sunflower design flower bowl - pot pouri - rose bowl

A lovely ceramic squat round vase or pot pouri bowl believed to date to the 1960's - 1970's. This lovely little bowl has been hand painted with a floral design featuring a sunflower and features multiple holes on the top to serve as a flower frog or to allow fragrance to escape from pot pouri.

The bowl is in excellent vintage condition with no sign of damage, although there is age related crazing to the top glaze. The unglazed foot rim on the base shows some age related discolouration.

This beautiful little item measures approximately 9.4cm tall and 7.5cm at the widest point. The aperture in the top of the vase measures approximately 2.5cm, the smaller holes measure approximately cm diameter.

An interesting little gift, a bright and unique piece of hand painted pottery that would look pretty on a small shelf or nook.
