Lovely vintage Myott "Royal Mail" design demitasse cup and saucer

A pretty Myott of Staffordshire demitasse tea cup and matching saucer in the lovely blue and cream version of "Royal Mail" which depicts scenes of old England on a moulded, fluted china base.

This lovely cup measures 5.7cm tall, 7cm across the open top diameter and 9.2cm across the width including the handle. The cup holds approximately 120ml. The saucer measures approximately 12cm in diameter.

It would make a lovely decorative gift and is the perfect size for a lungo coffee.

Both items are in very good vintage condition with no damage, cracks or chips. There are a few small superficial glaze cracks on the underside of the saucer and a small black hairline mark beneath the glaze by the handle which looks like it may be contamination with the black design version transfer material during manufacture. This is only noticeable on close inspection and can be seen in the photographs.
