A simple and very elegantly dainty vintage white porcelain toast rack. This lovely item is believed to date to the 1950's and was made in England by Delphine China. This pretty little toast rack has 3 upright shaped dividers, perfect for holding 2 slices of toast and it features a little finger hole handle on each end so that the toast can be passed to a recipient easily without touching it.

It is a lovely little thing and ideal for adding to a breakfast tray without taking up much space, or for adding elegance to the breakfast table.

This beautiful little item is in very good vintage condition. There is a small chip like irregularity in the edge of the underside which appears to be from the manufacturing process but this is not visible unless turned upside down and examined closely.

The photograph shows it holding 2 full size toasted standard slices of medium cut shop bought bread and there is plenty of room to spare between the dividers to hold thicker slices. The space between the dividers measures approximately 1.7cm so it could take slice up to this thickness. The rack measures 12cm long, 6.2 cm wide and approximately 5cm tall.
