This lovely lidded bowl is around 100 years old and was made by Soho Pottery at their Cobridge works. At the time of listing, other items in the range are available on separate listings in the shop. The pattern is called 'Basket' on this piece, although it is sometimes called 'Montauban' on other items with the same pattern. This lovely old small terrine or lidded serving bowl is in the rarer black and white design with gold. Please note this is an old piece of collectable pottery and so does show signs of age related deterioration and wear and tear.

This lovely lidded bowl is made of earthenware with a high gloss white glaze and a transfer pattern, finished with a gold gilding. It has double handles and an ornate handle to the lid. It has lost some of its gold gilding in places and there are a few very small glaze chips here and there. In the base of the body of the bowl there are a few chips from use over the years that has allowed the clay beneath to be seen. There is also some minor superficial crazing in the glaze in both pots and lids.

The pots hold approximately 950ml and measure 24.5cm across the widest part of the handles and 12cm tall to the tip of the lid.

This listing is for the lidded terrine only. All other items in the photographs are for display or size comparison purposes only and are not included.

Please look at all of the photographs and the video as these form part of the description and help to show scale, colour and condition.
