Delicate, small Beswick England copper lustre glazed jug. This lovely little jug packs visual impact with its unusual shape, sine and colour.
This beautiful little china jug is believed to be from the 1960s and has been coated with a shimmering copper lustre glaze giving it an almost metallic appearance. The interior of the jug is a contrasting black, and its striking shape is a reference to the English arts and crafts movement.
It would make a beautiful ornament, but could also be used as a small serving jug or as a practical little vase. It would look lovely on the table with a posy of flowers.
The jug measures 14cm at the lip and 9.5cm at its base.
