Vintage handmade glass LSA International ice cube bucket style wine and Champagne cooler

Vintage hand made glass LSA International ice bucket, perfect filled with iced water as a cooler for cooling Champagne, wine and other bottled drinks, or for using as a bucket for serving ice cubes. It would look perfectly in place in a formal or informal setting, with the simple quality design suiting the dining table, party table or patio table.

Thought to date to the late 1990's, this is a style that is no longer in production.

This lovely cooler is a typical example of LSA design, focusing on high quality and useful function. The ice bucket features a heavy, smooth and simplistic glass design with 2 decorative integral handles at the top and a slightly tapering body. The item has a lovely smooth finish and rounded edges and feels really nice to handle and touch. The glass is thick and robust. This item weighs in at a hefty 1.3kg empty. It has a capacity of 1.5 Litres of water when filled to a couple of centimetres from the handle cut outs.

The handle cut outs give a nice detail to the cooler without detracting from the simplicity of the design, however they could also double as attachment points for bows or ribbons to colour coordinate the item with a party or wedding theme.

The cooler still has 2 transparent labels attached that have faded and are barely visible unless examined closely. One says 'Hand Made' and the other says ' LSA International'.

The cooler measures approximately 16cm across the widest diameter at the top, 12cm at the narrowest point on the base and 15cm in height.
