Lovely quality vintage handmade leather drum jewellery casket box

A really lovely quality vintage small drum shaped handmade leather jewellery casket. This beautiful box is believed to have been handmade in Italy in the 1970's and is hand tooled from quality leather. It has a lovely aged look to it and is sturdy and well made. The top has been shaped in a rugged pattern that gives the box a unique appearance and adds a feeling of robustness. The box is quite heavy and has a thick lid that has been fashion to fit snuggly into the base of the casket. The top has been finished with embossed markings.

This is a really lovely piece and would make a beautiful gift for Father's day. It is the perfect size for storing several watches or other items of jewellery.

The casket measures approximately 6.2cm in height and 10cm in diameter. The base of the box measures approximately 4.8cm in depth.

Overall the condition is excellent with one slight scuff on the edge of the box.
