A fabulous 1960's Langley Mill small 1 pint coffee pot in the beautiful duck egg blue and milk chocolate "Lucerne" design. In the 1960's Langley Mill was taken over by Denby and began producing Denby ware. This beautiful item is in excellent condition and has not seen much use.

The pot has an internal strainer between the body and the spout and so could be used as a teapot as well. The lid is deep and heavy and has a small air hole to enable the pot to pour well with the lid in place. The lid does not have lugs to keep it place but has a deep collar to help prevent it falling out during use. It is lovely, very stylish and believed to be around 60 years old.

The pot measures approximately 15.5cm tall, including the lid and approximately 18cm wide from the back of the handle to the tip of the spout. The pot holds 600ml approximately.

The maker's mark on the base is still visible as an indentation in the clay, but the print of the stamp has all but gone. The blue in the photographs is perhaps slightly brighter than the real item and the video is a better indication of the delicate blue.

Please look carefully at all of the photographs and the video as these form part of the description and help to show scale, condition and colour.
