A fabulous set of 6 English Ironstone Kiln Craft tea cups and saucers from the 1970's. These wonderful cups just ooze the period and were made in Staffordshire England.

The design features a squat shaped cup which has been white glazed inside and on the top half with a slightly raised yellow and green floral design that has then been glaze coated on the base with a blueish green iron mottled fired glaze. This glaze has also been used to colour the top surface of the saucers.

A very pretty design and all in very good vintage condition with no damage except for 1 saucer which has a long hairline crack. The crack is mostly visible on the underside but can be seen to a lesser extent on the top surface as well and is full thickness. This can be seen in the final photograph. I'm happy to supply more photographs if requested.

The cups measure approximately 11.2 cm wide including the handle and 7cm tall. They have a capacity of 240ml.

The saucers are approximately 2cm tall and 14.2cm diameter.

They are all stamped on the base with the maker's mark and are marked as dishwasher safe.
The cups are also mould stamped into the clay with Made in England.

Please look at all of the photographs and the video as these form part of the description and help to show scale, colour and condition.

All items are very carefully wrapped for transit and normally dispatched within one or two working days.
