Vintage silver / platinum tone and green crystal floral brooch with safety chain

A lovely vintage costume jewellery silver/platinum tone brooch inset with sparkling green and pink crystals. This beautiful piece is well made and appears hand crafted. It is made of 3 wires shaped and welded together to produce a spray like effect. The crystals are set in individual claw settings, some being open backed and others closed backed. Where the crystals are set in open backed settings it can be seen that they have been silvered on the back to give more sparkle. The crystals are facet cut.
It is a very lovely and pretty item that is highly wearable.

The materials used and the maker are not known and there are no hallmarks. There is a mark hand etched into the back of one of the jewel claws that reads O/E/C but it is not known what this means.

This item does not have its original box but will be supplied in a small cardboard presentation box.

The brooch measures approximately 7.8cm long, 4.5cm wide and 1cm deep. It has a simple hook clasp at the back.

Condition is excellent, all crystals and claws are complete and there is no damage or discolouration to the metal work.
