Glorious vintage, 'Rhapsody' by Kjell Engman, Kosta Boda, Swedish, Stockholm, ice glass Scandinavian decorative bowl or candle holder

A glorious and richly decorative vintage glass bowl by Kjell Engman for Kosta Boda of Sweden. The bowl has been engraved on the base with Stockholm. The design is believed to be called Rhapsody.

This lovely bowl has decorative mouldings around the exterior of 4 different dancing scenes, divided into tableau by trees. I think it is meant for a small tea light candle, or just as a decorative piece. It could hold a small plant pot, but this would not show the bowl's lovely decoration off to its best advantage. It would look great filled with ice at the table.

It is very pretty and in beautiful vintage condition.

This lovely bowl would make a beautiful and unusual gift.

It measures approximately 10cm tall and 14cm wide and weighs a substantial 1kg when empty.
