Vintage 1980's M&S 'Harvest' melamine lidded sugar or cream dish

This listing is for a lovely vintage 1980's M&S St. Michael oven to tableware range melamine sugar or cream /conserve dish in their popular, and highly collectable, 'Harvest' design. Although the main 'Harvest' range is oven to table ware, this dish is from their melamine range and is not suitable for use with heat, although they are dishwasher safe.

The dish is sold as used, but is in very good condition and appears to be either unused or has been very well cared for. It has the 'Harvest' decorative design on the front and back of the base of the dish and a matching brown ring detail on the lid. There is a slot cut out of the lid to allow a spoon to sit in the bowl while it is being used to serve at the table.

The dish measures approximately 11cm wide and 8cm tall with the lid on. It has a capacity of approximately 300ml.

The design features a light cream coloured finish with a pretty autumnal feel pattern of berries, leaves and rose hips. There is a recess in the base for the lid to sit securely and some nice shaping that mimics the ceramic items in the range.

At the time of listing there are a number of items available to buy separately, as well as a large range of other items from coasters and Pyrex ware, to dinner, breakfast and tea sets and patterned glassware.
