$25.21

  • Details
This statement piece of glass weighs in at just over 2Kg empty. It is beautifully made in the style of Jack in the Pulpit and appears to have been handblown. It is wonderfully chunky and substantial and has a thick fluid looking rim and big, heavy base. The glass shows some impurity inclusions which suggests it is not a modern piece of glass and it is thought to date to the 1960's. It is unsigned, but nether the less it is a lovely piece of vintage glassware.

It stands approximately 22.5cm high and is 14cm wide across the widest part of the mouth.

Although this is a practical item, it is also a lovely decorative and collectable piece that would look great displayed empty on a shelf and would make a lovely vintage gift.

Overall it is in very good vintage condition, although this is a vintage used piece and there are a few minor signs of use. There are superficial scratches from age, mainly on the base where it has been stood over the years and there are a few tiny blemishes and inclusions from the hand blowing process of manufacture.

This listing is for the vase only. All other items in the photographs are for display or size comparison purposes only and are not included.
