This lovely teapot is in the ever popular and highly collectable Johnson Brothers' pattern 'Eternal Beau'. This pretty pattern was in production between 1983 and 2013 and is now discontinued.
It features a high gloss white glaze with a dark green rim and a pretty bow and floral design. The range is based on an octagonal shape with a pretty moulded beaded effect around the edge. The pattern has been applied beneath the top glaze making the pieces durable and preventing pattern fade over the years.
The teapot holds approximately 1100ml and measures approximately 20cm tall and is 23.5cm long across the handles and spout. Overall it is in very good vintage condition, it does however have a small chip on the underside of the base which is not noticeable unless turned upside down and carefully examined. This can be seen in the last photograph and the video. There is also a tiny dot of green glaze on the handle that had transferred at the time of manufacture. Again this can be seen in the photos.
I test all of my teapot for pour quality and this one pours very well with no drips. This teapot was designed with the spout and body integrated. There are no strainer holes dividing the two parts of the teapot
The range is microwave, dishwasher and oven safe.
