Single vintage long stem cut crystal hock glass - wine retro 70's style

A very pretty vintage single wine glass with an elegant long stem and rounded bowl.

This style of wine glass is referred to as a Hock glass and is designed to deliver the best taste experience when used to savour sweet or young wines. It has a lovely shape and a very pretty and elegant design. It is believed to date to the 1970's when this style of glass was very popular, however this is not known for sure and the manufacturer is unknown. The glass appears to have been handmade with no seams or moulding marks. The stem and foot have been attached separately and the stem has a few little elongated air bubbles suggesting it have been drawn and shaped.

There is a wonderful ringing 'ding' when flicked.

It measures approximately 18.6cm tall and holds approximately 200ml.

The glass is in very good vintage condition with no damage and has a nice, well balanced feel in the hand.
