Lovely set of 3 boxed collector's plates by the artist Trevor Mitchell detailing farming scenes during 1940's war time. Two of the plates have have their limited edition number certificate, however, please note that one plate, the 'Friends far from home' plate has lost its certificate. The plates are the size of large tea plates, approximately 20.5cm diameter. Each plate is rimmed in 22ct gold gilding and has a hanging point on the reverse. The set was marketed by Danbury Mint.
All the other plates are in very good condition and are in their original polystyrene protective bivalve case. The boxes have become a bit grubby and discoloured due to age and time in storage. The plates are decorative only and it states on the back that they are not designed for use with food.
This listing is for the set of 3 boxed plates only. All other items in the photographs are for display or size comparison purposes only and are not included.
Please look at all of the photographs and the video as these form part of the description and help to show scale, colour and condition.
All items are very carefully wrapped for transit and normally dispatched within one or two working days.
