4 vintage Colclough English bone china teacups and saucers in Rhapsody in Blue (8683) design - Ridgway Potteries Ltd.

A set of 4 lovely vintage, pedestal footed, English fine bone china tea cups and saucers by Colclough in their Rhapsody in Blue design. Production of this design ran from around the 1960's until it was discontinued in the late 1990's. Other items in the range can be found on separate listings, where still available.

The cups and saucers are decorated with a pretty muted blue floral design with golden gilding and have a lovely shape. They are marked with the maker's mark on the base of each item and the cups also carry the design name. The cups and saucers are all in good condition with no damage or cracks. These items are vintage and have been used, so there is some slight wear to the gilding on the rims and handles in places.

The cups each hold approximately 160ml comfortably. The cups measure approximately 7.6cm tall and 10.8cm across the widest part including the handle. The saucers are scalloped in shape and these measure approximately 14cm diameter and 2cm tall.
