Vintage French Cristal d'Arques lead crystal owl paperweight

A pretty vintage glass paperweight in excellent, used condition. This item is believed to have been made by Cristal d'Arques, although the maker's sticker is no longer present on this particular piece. The top side of the paperweight is a smooth, clear dome, the underside is hollowed out to produce the owl image, which is then magnified when viewed through the top of the dome. A very pretty piece.

It measures approximately 9cm in diameter and weighs approximately 530g.
