This beautiful and very elegant mantle vase was made by Arthur Wood in around 1950 in his lovely design 'Fall'.
Please note that there is a hairline crack on one of the handles. This is not noticeable unless you know it is there and does not effect the use of the vase, although it is advisable not to pick it up by the handles.
It measures approximately 39cm in length handle to handle, is 14.5cm wide across the tips of the central tall leaf and stands 17cm tall at the high point of the handle. This beautiful vase comes with a wire flower frog to help support the floral display.
The base is marked with the maker's stamp and the design name 'Fall'. Overall the condition is excellent for a 75 year piece of every day use china. Other than the hairline crack in the handle (please see the final photograph) there is no damage. There is a little bit of staining inside the base where the pedestal meets the body and also where the handles meet the body.
This listing is for the Arthur Woods Fall mantle vase and flower frog only. All other items in the photographs are for display or size comparison purposes only and are not included.
