Beautiful vintage Wedgewood, bone china 'Angela' hexagonal lidded trinket box

A beautiful, high quality, vintage lidded trinket box by Wedgewood in the delicate and floral 'Angela' design. This lovely box is believed to date from the 1980's and features a pretty and delicate pastel coloured floral and butterfly design on a fine and silky smooth, white bone china base. The box has a smooth, rounded and simple style and is marked with the makers stamp and design name on the base. The colours are delicate and almost watercolour like in shades of blue, lilac, pink, green and yellow,

It is in excellent vintage used condition with no damage or obvious signs of use. It would make a pretty and elegant gift. The box has a loosely fitted lid which sits over a raised lip on the base of the box, perfect for storing a few small items of jewellery such as rings/earrings.

Different aspects of the design are featured on the flat sides of the hexagon base and a larger composite design is featured on the lid, so it looks pretty from every angle.
