Lovely vintage hand carved and painted wooden turtle

A lovely and very tactile, vintage, hand painted and carved, wooden turtle. This pretty little fellow has been painted in greens, browns and reds and fits nicely in the hand. It measures approximately 15cm long, 9.5cm wide and 5cm tall.

A very pretty ornament that looks great when the light hits it and the wood has a warm glow to it that looks like gold in the light.

It is in good vintage condition, although it has clearly been used and handled and has some little superficial knocks and scratches in the surface.
