Pretty vintage Italian, pink glazed, hand woven china basket

A lovely hand woven china dish made by 'weaving' strands of wet clay into a basket shape and then firing. The basket has been glazed in a high gloss shine pale pink colour and is believed to date to the 1980's. It carries a maker's mark on the base and was made in Italy.

Perfect for elegantly holding a wide range of items such as cotton wool balls, fresh berries or sweets, trinkets or keys. It would make a nice gift filled with soap or chocolate.

The dish measures approximately 14cm long, 9.8cm wide and stands 5cm high.
