Pretty, vintage Italian hand painted jug, 520ml, floral vase

A lovely Italian, vintage, hand made jug, perfect for use at the table, but also a nice size for a small bouquet of flowers. The jug is glazed terracotta and has a white glaze interior and hand painted floral exterior. Before firing the potter has scratched his design outline in the clay and then painted it, so there is some texture to the outside decoration. The jug is signed on the base. I holds approximately 520ml comfortably and pours cleanly. It measures approximately 12.5cm tall and is 13.5cm across the widest part including the handle and spout. It is quite thick and heavy weighing just under 0.6Kg empty.

It is in very good vintage condition with the exception of one tiny little glaze chip on the inner handle, as seen in the final photograph.
