Pekingese glazed, hand painted, china dog figurine - mid century made in England

This pretty hand painted, vintage, glazed china Pekingese dog figurine is believed to date to the mid 20th Century and is stamped as made in England.

This lovely Pekingese would make an unusual vintage gift for a dog lover and is large enough to have impact, yet small enough to fit on a narrow shelf without taking up too much room.

He measures approximately 18.5cm long, 8cm across the widest part and is 10cm high to the top of his head.

It is in lovely vintage condition overall, although there is age related glaze crazing throughout as can be seen in the photographs. Some of the hand applied eye detail was added post firing with the glaze and has worn away in places with age.
