A lovely vintage Edina Ronay of London ostrich leather bag. Edina Ronay is the daughter of food critic Egon Ronay and is an Anglo-Hungarian fashion designer. This lovely bag is believed to date to from the late 1990's to early 2000's and is in very good, unused, condition. It is a lovely size, just big enough for a small laptop, but small enough to use as a large handbag. The leather has a lovely graining to it with a semi gloss finish and the distinctive ostrich leather dimples. The interior is lined in Edina Ronay monogrammed pale gold satin material with two small pouch pockets and a larger zipped pocket. The interior is immaculate and as new. The exterior has a few very minor superficial scuffs from storage.
The exterior of the bag is styled with chunky gold coloured fittings and a robust zip. Fixings are present on the sides of the bag for a shoulder strap attachment. Please note that the bag does not come with a shoulder strap. The handles are padded and robust with the ability to swivel up and down to allow ease of storage and access to the zip. The final photograph shows a 30cm wide MacBook being comfortably slid into the open zip top. The external measurements of the bag are approximately 38cm long, 12cm wide and 26cm tall. It weighs approximately 1.15 Kg empty.
