Vintage boxed, authenticated, numbered, limited edition set of 8 German fine bone china collector's decorative floral seasons plates

Lovely set of 8 boxed, numbered and certificated 1987-88 collector's floral plates by the artist Von Ursula Band. Please note that one plate (Herbstgold, the sunflower plate) has at some stage been broken and has been repaired. This is shown in the photographs. The repair is quite poor, however due to the complexity of the design it it not immediately noticeable and could still be displayed. The plates are the size of tea plates, approximately 19.5cm diameter. Each plate is rimmed in golden gilding and has a hanging point with 2 holes on the reverse. Each plate is numbered by hand. The set was marketed by the Bradford Exchange Ltd and made in Germany by Hutschenreuther.

All the other plates are in very good condition and all 8 are in their original polystyrene protective bivalve case inside the original individual shipping boxes, complete with postage labels. Each plate has the original information booklet in German, with an English insert translation and has an authenticity certificate. The boxes have become a bit grubby and discoloured due to age and time in storage and the paperwork has become bent in places due to be pushed in the boxes. The plates are decorative only and it states on the back that they are not designed for use with food.
