Pretty vintage English bone china small trinket dish / ashtray

A very pretty and dainty small shallow trinket, ring dish or ashtray. Stamped with 'made in England' and 'bone china' on the back, this particular pattern has appeared on several different ranges from several different manufacturers. Therefore, because there is no maker's mark on the dish it is not possible to attribute it to a particular manufacturer. It is, however believed to date from the mid 20th Century. This is a used, vintage item and although in overall good condition, there are some minor signs of use. The golden gilding on the rim shows some minor loss in places and there are a couple of scratches to the surface of the pattern. There is also a very slight warp to the dish, making it very slightly wonky, which I think adds to the aged charm. These can all be seen in the photographs.

The little dish measures approximately 8.8cm diameter and stands 1cm tall.
